Heritage of the Printed Book Database
A project of the Consortium of European Research Libraries
Hosted in Germany, this database refers to the catalogs of CERL member institutions in Europe and North America.  It serves as an index to publications created in the hand-press printing era (c.1455 - 1830).  It includes references for bibles, maps, music, journals, scientific works, games and other publications.  Libraries from 25 countries make portions of their catalogs available to this database.


KCMI Radio - The Cross Reference Library

Hosted by KCMI Radio, this is a library of Christian works from various eras located in Western Nebraska.  The library contains works for entertainment as well as instruction.  The library hosts a simple catalog on Libib.

Common Soil Seed Library

This library is a place to share open-pollinated seeds.  Nebraska is one of the few states in the Nation that has a seed law framework that allows for the non-commercial sharing of open-pollinated seeds.  Nebraska and the seed law.  Seed Savers Exchange in Iowa is a non-profit organization that facilitates the cultivation and sale of open-pollinated seed varieties.  It operates a commercial arm that sells the seed that is produced by the community of gardeners that the Exchange coordinates.  Seed Savers Exchange also maintains a seed bank.

Tool Library
Around the country, there are several tool libraries.  These would be considered a library of things.  They keep tools on hand and available for checkout to library patrons.  Each governs itself just a little bit differently, so you may want to consult the library closest to you regarding their lending policies.

Cake Pan Library
Several Nebraska libraries and a few more around the nation maintain a library of things that includes a collection of cake pans.  Atkinson Public Library, Howells Public Library and Louisville Public Library each host cake pan libraries.

Nebraskaland Photo Library
A decades long collection of amazing photographs of Nebraska's natural history.  This library is available to the public.  The majority of the photographs are copyright Nebraskaland magazine and permission must be obtained before use.
